  • Help please, I`m trying to grow my own Apache Dwarf Chillies

    Hi
I`m new to growing my own stuff. I`ve bought a couple of Apache Dwarf Chilli plants, which are about 3inches tall now, and have potted them in the same pot which is 6inches.
Should I separate them, so there is only one in each pot? as I saw they can get quite bushy. Also should I leave them outside or bring them into the Kitchen? I have been doing both outside during the day and bringing them in at night, but have no idea if I`m doing right
Any advice on Chilli growing would be gratefully recieved

    Thankyou very much

Hi Jackie and welcome to the Vine, I moved this out of growing techniques so people can see it

I would carefully seperate your plants and put them in individual potss

I grew Apache a couple of years ago and started them in small pots then gradually moved them up until they went in their final pot - a 5 litre pot, They performed really well - but I had them in my polytunnel all year round - can be pretty cold up here even in summer.

try to grow them hard, plenty of sun and warmth, dont overwater, wait til the compost is virtually dry before watering,i grow mine in bought in topsoil,i find they like that best,i have 15 x 8ins pots growing well in the greenhouse and if they will grow up here you should be okay...best of luck..
